August ‘19 OMG Finish

My August 2019 One Monthly Goal was to finish my Tranquility quilt top (Please see my August ‘19 OMG post for details about the pattern and fabrics used). I’m happy to report that I did get the quilt top done, and it is in the queue at Sew Shabby Quilting. I chose Melissa’s Take Five quilting pattern to echo the triangles in the quilt. The pic below shows the top and bottom borders on the quilt top but does not show the side borders. I promise to get a full shot when the quilt is finished. At 75” x 76”, it will definitely be an outside shot! I’m hoping to enjoy this quilt on my bed while it is still summer. I might just make it by a week or two before the Fall Equinox (Sept. 23rd).

Hi Mary! Great job finishing your quilt. It sure has some beautiful tones and colors – very pleasing to the eyes. I think you can extend the summer season just a bit to be able to enjoy a few weeks! No one will tell on you. Do you have a special or seasonal quilt that you use for Fall? ~smile~ Roseanne

Oh so pretty! Love the florals popping out in the triangles. Looking forward to seeing it again once quilted.
