To-Do Tuesday 60 Weekly Progress Update

I am joining the weekly To-Do Tuesday Weekly Progress Update Linky Party hosted by my friend, Roseanne, at Home Sewn By Us.

To-Do for the week of Sept 29th-Oct 5th:

  1. Write my October 2020 OMG post and share about a new project.  √ Done
  2. Bind my Dachshunds quilt.√ Done

To-Do #1

I’ve started the perfect Fall project. I’m making Sunflower blocks that I will make into placemats and a table runner. I shared a little more about this project in my October 2020 OMG post. Below is a pic of the six Sunflower blocks I’ve made so far along with strips of fabric I’ve been using for the blocks.

To-Do #2

I did finish binding the Dachshunds quilt. I had a hard time getting a good outside shot of it, so I’ve also include a pic of it on my bed that really shows off the Scribble quilting motif.

To-Do for the week of Oct 6th-Oct 12th:

  1. Make more Sunflower blocks.
  2. Write a post about my two secret Christmas quilts.

Hi Mary! Oooh, your Dachshund quilt is finished – can’t wait to see it complete. Yeah, I’m trying to come up with an October OMG project myself. Those are good-sized blocks for your North Star quilt – I didn’t realize you were keeping it for yourself. It does look great on your bed with the gray background of your other quilt. Maybe it’ll just have to hang out there for the winter. Thanks for linking up today. ~smile~ Roseanne

Hi again, Mary! The six sunflower blocks sure look pretty altogether, as do the strips/fabrics you are using to make them. Yay to the Doxie quilt being all finished. Thank you for linking up this week! ~smile~ Roseanne
