I made two Halloween moth pillows to go with the Frightful Fun Quilt that I finished last month. I used one of the 6” blocks from the Frightful Minis that was a freebie at the time I signed up for Frightful Fun.

The moth blocks were quilted at the same time as Frightful Fun. I really like the cobweb quilting pattern used by Cara with Sew Colorado Quilting. The white background fabric is glow-in-the-dark, which makes these pillows extra fun! I added a white border and a black border to make these 16” finished pillows.

Wow, love the moth blocks and pillows. Glow in the dark—too cool!!!

You had me at cobweb quilting (I love these were quilted at the same time as Frightful Fun), but the glow in the dark fabric really makes these perfect!!! Thanks for linking up with Favorite Finish.

Gosh those are cute! I never knew moths could be so pretty, love the fabrics you used. Cara’s quilting is really cool. I really need to look into the glow in the dark fabrics – my grands would love that.

Thank you! I’ll put some in my cart. Sometimes when I do that and don’t purchase right away, they send me a discount code. 😀
