I am so happy that I got the quilt finished that I started on my Alaskan cruise in August. It is a large-size throw quilt, measuring 72” x 72”, so it also works pretty well on my bed. See This post for more information about this project.

Here’s a close-up of the Modern Waves—Gentle quilting done by Cara at Sew Colorado Quilting using Military Gold Thread.

And for the back, I pulled some wide back fabric that I’ve been keeping in my stash for just the right project. Unfortunately I don’t remember the manufacturer or designer of this gorgeous ombre fabric. But I love how it looks on the back of my Fractical quilt.

Congrats on this finish. It’s beautiful. I love all the fabrics you’ve used in this – front and back 🙂

Yay! Always feels good to finish a quilt within a reasonable amount of time from when the top was completed. Perfect backing!

Well that backing sure seems like it was made especially for your quilt, what a perfect pairing! Congratulations on a beautiful finish that can be added to your bed when needed. It’s certainly getting to be the season where I say the more quilts on the bed the merrier. 🙂 Thank you for linking up with Favorite Quilt Finish!
