March 2020 OMG Finish

My March 2020 One Monthly Goal was to make a high school graduation quilt top for my great-nephew, Hayden, with fabrics related to camping which is a major family activity/interest as well as some fabrics that reflect a few of his other interests such as fishing, bicycling, and cowboy hats and boots. I used Amy Ellis’ Soirée Quilt Pattern and cut all of the snowball triangles from one fabric (Kona Cadet) with the background fabric being Kona Windsor. It will be a nice size throw quilt at 54” x 72”.

Hi Mary! Nice finish and yippee to completing your March OMG project. I hope Hayden doesn’t read the blog unless it doesn’t matter if it’s a surprise or not! It turned out great. ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. What a great pattern for this quilt; The cadet really frames all the featured prints so nicely!

  3. Nice finish, Mary! I like the way the cadet adds a subtle secondary pattern to the quilt top! He’s going to really like this quilt!
