My August 2020 One Monthly Goal is to make a mini kitty quilt to protect—at least a little bit—my Blithe (Modified) quilt that I am currently enjoying on my bed. My cat, Bug, tends to frequently sit/sleep at the end of my bed, and she really seems to like having her own quilt :). I recently ran across an adorable pillow using Elizabeth Hartman’s Cat Quilt on the Janome website. At 20” square, it is the perfect size for a mini kitty quilt, so that is the pattern I’m using incorporating some of the same fabrics in my Blithe quilt in combination with coordinating Kona solids. Below is a pic of six the of cats I’ve made. The mini quilt will have 10 cats along with sashing.
Linking up to Elm Street Quilts: August 2020 OMG.

Hi Mary! These are fun little kitty faces. I just love that butterfly fabric – I’m glad you can use it here. This will be a pretty project when it is all complete. I have no doubt you can finish it this month and that Bug will be sleeping on it in no time. ~smile~ Roseanne
