My September 2020 One Monthly Goal is to make the quilt top for a Christmas version of the Small North Stars Quilt (pattern by Elizabeth Hartman). I just finished making Lucille the Seal in turquoise fabrics this morning. Her nose is a little crooked in the pic below. I tried to fix it (after I took the photo) and should have left well enough alone! Hopefully the quilting will magically make it all better 🙂 The good news is that I’m keeping this quilt. I am planning to make the Otters block in blue fabrics, the Walrus in green fabrics, and the Polar Bear in red fabrics.

Cute! Her patterns are such fun!

Hi Mary! Lucille the Seal is so darn cute. A Christmas version of Small North Stars is the perfect size for a one monthly goal. Good luck and I can’t wait to see it complete. ~smile~ Roseanne

This is adorable and the crooked nose gives her character. Elizabeth’s patterns are so fun. I recently made the elephant from the Spectacular Savanna pattern. I need to quilt it up. i look forward to seeing your quilt unfold.

So cute and I do not see that her nose is crooked! It makes her all the more endearing! Good luck on your goal. I am looking forward to seeing your progress.
