My October 2021 One Monthly Goal was to make a quilt top featuring a Northern Lights panel surrounded by wonky stars made with leftover fabric from my Ombré Lotus Quilt. I used HQ Stitch’s Make a Wonky Star tutorial to make my stars for this quilt top that measures 36.5″ X 55″. I have sent it off to Melissa at Sew Shabby Quilting for her add some Primitive Stars quilting.
Below is a close-up of the four wonky stars:
I hope to finish this quilt in time for post-Thanksgiving decorating. I’m sure it doesn’t surprise anyone that I plan to include some ombré in my Christmas decor this year!

It glows! Of course, you know I like those wonky stars! I think your goal will be met!

Woot woot! Great job, Mary! This is just a fabulous quilt top or wall hanging. We have visited Alaska many times and have enjoyed the Northern Lights. Sometimes, we can even get a glimpse of them here in the countryside. They are amazing as is your top. This makes me want to make my own version. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
