To-Do #1
We received our second border prompt for SAHRR2022 from Emily of The Darling Dogwood on Monday. Emily chose diamonds, and I decided to make four paper-pieced diamonds in the same dark pink print fabric as I used in the dog’s bow tie (from Brenda Ratliff’s Pie Making Day collection). With the two borders, my piece now measures 21.75″ square.

Oh my gosh, this is the cutest! I love that you used the same fabric in the diamonds as your dog’s bowtie. The four diamonds are a perfect accent!

Hi Mary! The placement of your diamonds on your center SAHRR block is just fab and quite striking. I just adore how it pulls out his little red collar which might have been missed if you had selected something else. {{Hugs}} a bunch. ~smile~ Roseanne

Your diamonds in the round robin border look great! I think paper-piecing them is such a good idea. Looking forward to seeing your temperature quilt progress, too!

Love your diamonds!! I was thinking of using an acrylic template from Jen Kingwell for mine, we’ll see how it goes. The Treasure Hunt quilt is so pretty.
