To-Do #1

I did get the quilt top done for Colby’s camping graduation quilt. It is packaged up and ready to send to Melissa at Sew Shabby Quilting. Here is a photo of the center of the quilt top.

To-Do #2

I may have finished cutting strips for my Alison Glass Kantha Sew Along quilt. I won’t know until I take all the strips I have and start laying them out in a cohesive gradient order. I will be piecing the strips together in columns that are approximately 78″ in length. The width of the quilt top will be around 54″. Below are strips I cut over the weekend.

I wrote my May 2022 One Monthly Goal on Sunday. Here is a pic of one of the gorgeous panels I will be cutting into triangles for my Nene quilt:

Hi Mary! I can hardly WAIT for you to get going on the Nene quilt. It just looks so cool and fascinating to me. The Kantha SAL fabrics are gorgeous, too. What fun projects you have going on! Maybe that’s my problem – I need something pretty and bright to work on. Good luck with your list! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

Your graduation quilt turned out well. Look forward to seeing it when it gets back from the long armer. I so wanted to participate in Alison’s sew along, but I seriously am on a no start new project until June 20th (doing a WIP only challenge).I love the strips you picked out. Alison fabric is a passion of mine. The panel looks very interesting. I look forward to seeing the end project.

    • Thanks so much! I definitely can relate to having too many projects that I need to finish up and not wanting to start anything new. I’m limiting myself to projects that REALLY call to me as opposed to those that I like but that I’m not as interested in doing right away.
