I am beyond thrilled to share that I have finished my Nene quilt. I’ve had the gorgeous Quantum panels by Giucy Giuce in my stash for a couple years (and I have enough left for a whole different quilt someday!), and I love how the panels look cut first into triangles and then accented with colorful film strip borders. This 67” X 79” quilt was long-arm quilted by Rebecca@Rebecca Grace Quilting. She used Starlight quilting design with a pretty green thread (So Fine in Ferrari). The binding fabric is Kona Celestial. I made the quilt for a bed in the back room, but my best friend, Mary, thinks it will look really good on her bed. Hmmmmmmmm. I might consider it a loaner!

Stunning! The quilting is sized perfectly to compliment the piecing. Boy would Mary be lucky if she gets this loaned to her! 🙂

Uh oh — if you “loan” your Nene quilt to your friend Mary, will you ever see it again? Then you’d have to make another one… ;-). This was so much fun to quilt for you. I love how it turned out!
