SAHRR2022–I’m In

Last year I read everyone’s posts for the Stay At Home Round Robin (SAHRR) hosted by Quilting Gail, and a big part of me was SO tempted to join in, but I had committed myself to TOO many other projects. This year my quilting dance card is filling up, but I still have room for another project or two (or ???!) I am especially drawn to the opportunity to play with quilt design. My center block will be a 12.5″ square practice block I made almost four years ago before I made the Quatrefoil French Bulldog Quilts for my colleague’s twin baby girls.

The cute little French Bulldog ears fabric is from Christopher Thompson’s Blue Carolina fabric collection. He is better known as the The Tattoed Quilter. I have several other fabrics from this collection stashed away that will be perfect for this year’s SAHRR. It’s going to be fun to interpret the different border prompts, and it’s great to have the option to skip a border if it doesn’t seem like it will work for my project.

Hi Mary! Oh, how I love this French Bulldog! What an expressive face he has, and what a fun block for the centerpiece to build upon. I can’t wait to see how you interpret the upcoming prompts! Great job. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
