I’m very excited to share with you all that my Lumen Quilt is finished! This 60” x 60” lap quilt is a Christmas present for my stepdaughter, Alisha. I tried to take an outside pic of it yesterday, but the bright sunshine washed out the vibrant colors, so I took a few shots of it on my bed earlier today. The quilting was done by Melissa at Sew Shabby Quilting, and the quilting pattern is Bread Basket.
Below are couple pics of the quilt backing:

Oh, the backing is so fun and a great blend of the quilt top and the quilting. Beautiful finish and I hope your stepdaughter loves it!

Good Morning Mary! WOW! This really turned out great. I just LOVE all the different fabrics colors and how nicely they are highlighted by the gray. They really are allowed to shine and the layout is just perfect, going from darker to lighter and back. Your stepdaughter is going to just adore this – how could she not?!! What a fun backing fabric, too. It certainly has all the colors from the front in it. I’ll bet you are just so pleased to have it back and bound – that quilting pattern helps move your eyes around the quilt, too. {{Hugs}} Great job! ~smile~ Roseanne
